PIANIST AND CONDUCTOR 

Spanish pianist and orchestra conductor Cristina Lucio-Villegas is a versatile, charismatic artist, singled out by specialized critics as a virtuoso pianist, with a deep musical sense and an exquisite sensitivity. Her relevant international experience has led her to perform as a soloist, in chamber music groups, as a lied pianist and as a conductor in important music halls in countries such as Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Ukraine, Brazil, Oman or Indonesia.

CV

Cristina Lucio-Villegas started her musical education as a pianist, studying in Seville with J.A. Coso and María Floristán and later at the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music with Professor Ana Guijarro, graduating in 2003 with the highest grades and awards. She continued her studies at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland) with Professor Tuija Hakkila (Master’s Degree in 2008), and at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music (Belgium) under the direction of A. R. El Bacha and D. Bashkirov (Artist Diploma in 2011) receiving always the highest awards and distinctions. She has also received masterclasses with prestigious professors such as Almudena Cano, Guillermo González, Ramón Coll, Rita Wagner, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Eero Heinonen or Matti Raekallio.
