Cristina
Lucio-Villegas obtained her degree as Docent in Piano and Chamber Music
from the Madrid Royal Conservatory of Music in 2003 and the
master’s degree in piano performance from the Sibelius
Academy of Helsinki in 2008, receiving the best qualifications. From 2008 to 2011 she studies the Artist Diploma Module at
the Queen Elisabeth College of Music (Belgium) graduating with the
qualification "Greatest Distinction".
Cristina has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and Lied pianist
in Spain, Belgium, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, in other European countries
as well as in Brazil and Indonesia. It is worth to remark
her passion for chamber music and her interest in symphonic and
contemporary music, fields in which she has obtained great experience,
having been the pianist of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, and
collaborating with other prestigious professional groups.
In 2008, after passing an open competition, Cristina became piano
teacher at the conservatories of Madrid.
